SCIOTO GREENWAYS PROJECT
During the next 18-24 months, there will be several closures and detours posted for the Scioto Trail on both east and west banks. Please use caution downtown as you pass through the construction area. Between November 18 and February 1, the detours will be posted as needed. By Feb. 1, all of the trail along the Scioto Mile is scheduled to be closed and a full detour posted.
OLENTANGY TRAIL/ GOODALE STREET BRIDGE
Construction has started on the Olentangy Trail for the new Goodale Street Bridge and Trail Connector. This new connection will be an important link to the Central Ohio Greenway system by increasing access to the Grandview Heights and Harrison West neighborhoods. A new bike/ped bridge and trail will be built between Olentangy River Road to near Michigan Avenue. A new ramp will also connect Goodale Street to the Olentangy Trail. During construction, the trail will remain open and caution signs will be posted marking areas of construction. Please use extreme caution and slow down when passing through the construction zone---workers and equipment will be close to the edges of the path. See rendering HERE.
SCIOTO TRAIL - DOWNTOWN
Beginning Wednesday, October 16, the westbank of the Scioto Trail, between Dodge Park and Main Street, will close. This closure is for the removal of the Main Street dam. This section of path will be closed for the next 18-24 months.
BERLINER PARK AREA
The Greenlawn Avenue Pump Station project is under construction. As part of this project, there will be some disturbing of the bike path in Berliner Park at Greenlawn Avenue. Construction to begin around the second week of November (estimate).
ALUM CREEK TRAIL - ACADEMY PARK SUSPENSION BRIDGE
The suspension bridge over Alum Creek between Academy Park and Wolfe Park will be closed starting April 15 for a restoration project. The historic structure was built in 1922 and will undergo a complete overhaul of the towers, railings, decking, and approaches. The structural work will close the trail for a short segment on the east side (Wolfe Park) of the river, between Broad Street and Park Drive. Signed detours around the bridge site are posted for users. The bridge will be closed until Winter 2013.

670 / 71 BRIDGE RECONSTRUCTION PROJECT, 12/1/11
A section of the I-670 Trail between St. Clair and the north entry drive to Fort Hayes High School will be closed beginning December 7, 2011. This 800' closure is for the 670/71 bridge reconstruction project. The path segment will be closed until 2014. The east leg of the trail, from Nelson Road to St. Clair, and the west leg from Jack Gibbs/Cleveland Ave. to Fort Hayes, will remain open. An on-street detour is posted using Spring St. and Long St.
